Do you feel bored and uninspired with corporate design jobs? Are you looking to take your design skills to the next level?
Whether you’re a design pro, a Photoshop novice, or an artist looking for inspiration, this workshop will enable you to stretch the limits of your imagination to create gorgeous and aesthetic digital artworks using your own photographs and art. Artist and graphic designer Samia Saade will walk you through the process of taking good photos and transforming them into digital collages on Photoshop.
Workshop agenda:
Day 1: Brief history of collage, taking photos for a collage, planning a composition, the Golden Ratio, sourcing public domain photos
Day 2: Brief intro to Photoshop and design elements, creating a collage on Photoshop
Requirements: Camera of your choosing (a smartphone works too), laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed.

About the instructor:
Samia Saade is an award-winning graphic designer and artist, whose work was selected and featured on The Yard’s Designer Planner for the month of January 2017. Her “Sadu Glitch” won first place at the Sadu Inspired Design Competition organized by AlSadu Society in partnership with the NCCAL and the AlQurain Festival. With over 8 years of experience in graphic design, she wears the many hats of designer, illustrator, storyteller, photographer, gamer, and co-founder and artist of The Divan. She is driven by her passion for arts and design, and her style is influenced by her ultimate love, video games.
