Startup Grind is back with a bang!

This time the spotlight is on Hashim Behbehani & Ahmad Marafi, the founders of Coded. Coded is the first coding academy in the Middle East. Established in 2015, it has now run 6 bootcamps and graduated over 70 coders.

Ahmad Marafi is the co-founder and CEO of Coded. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Computer Engineering degree. Ahmad has worked in the telecom, and oil and gas industries prior to co-founding Coded, and was a judge in many startup competitions such as Microsoft Imagine cup, H. H. Shaikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award, and the MIT EF MobileApp Launchpad Competition.

Hashim Bahbahani earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is currently the COO of Coded. Previously the co-founder and CEO for e-commerce platforms SmallQ8.com and Yazli App, he is an active member of the Kuwaiti Startup community, and has been invited as a guest speaker, mentor, or panelist at several startup events and competitions, most recently the 8th MIT Enterprise Forum.
